I love that I have been around long enough to keep getting repeat customers!!! This little guy was so super sweet at his newborn session!!! I was so excited because it was the first time I got thepose and he let me take so many more!!
He was just as wonderful at his one year old session as his newborn. A bonus for mom… there were no nakey shots so there was no fear of poop

Today was such a random weather day…. when I left for the session I was SURE we wouldn’t be able to do it. We were meeting at Fish Creek and when I left home is was totally storming. Thunder, lighting, and some crazy rain. But…. we decided to try and we are so happy we did!! It was beautiful at the park! No rain at all, we were actually fighting sunlight at some points. When we were leaving the thunder (and mosquitos) were rolling in. So we timed it perfectly. He is so very cute. Thanks so much for letting me spend some more time with your wonderful family!! It was a pleasure seeing you all again.

We even snuck in a cake smash… OUTDOORS!! So completely awesome. He demolished that cake

Oh my how I love 1 year olds!! And cake. Put the two together and it is a session in HEAVEN! Mix that up with someone whom I have taken photos from since before he was born… and it was just pure sweetness.

While there are still tons of pics to go through the smash ones were just too sweet to pass up! Thanks so much C for bringing him over and saying yes to the smash!!! He is over the top cute and as always it was an extremely fun sessions with you!

One year old fun!!!

Oh to be one again what an amazing age. Learning to walk, starting to talk, drooling everywhere…….. I love this age! It is so much fun photographing one year olds. Because shortly after one, getting pics of kids is about 10X harder hahahahaha.
This little man has been in a few posts. He is just happiness. You can’t help but be happy around him. As you can tell he is also a total ham. He kept us on our toes…. almost tipping the bucket over, tearing down a backdrop, and running away from us. But well worth it!! The pictures are just amazing. Make me wish I had been doing this when my kids were small!!!
Also included – a few more pics of the cake smash. Which has quickly made it to the top of my list of very fav types of shoots.

365 day 6 (warning a bit of a cheat )

Well today FINALLY came I have been waiting for this lil man to turn one as much as his mom has been dreading it!!!!!!
I have wanted to do a cake smash/1 yr old shoot for SO LONG!!!! I was so excited for this shoot, the night before I was talking about it all night. SO – this isn’t his blog post… I have a bit of editing ahead of me for that. BUT as it was shot with my 50 (although not even close to wide open lol) I wanted to slide in some pics.
I love these types of shoots…. I’m really hoping I get some more of these in the future!!!

So I mad a little storyboard for one of my fav lil men. I met him when he was 6 months old to get his 6 month old pics and I am so lucky to have made a wonderful friend (his mom) in the process. Here’s to many many years of great friendship and good pics

Storyboards get printed on boards or canvas and are FANTASTIC. They look just as you see them here. I like them just cause you get to see more pics in an image I converted one to one of my fav (different) black and whites…. it’s like a little blueberry got mixed in to the conversion.
